Question by : What are some good ideas on how to “sell” our foster cats better?
okay, me and my family hope to take a vacation in the fall, but it wont be possible unless we start getting some of our foster cats and kittens, who are living in our home, adopted. Every weekend we take the cats up to “adopt a pet” at Petsmart where they sit in cages for people to look at. So far we have tried alot, but we wont do the “free cat” thing or else it will make the cat seem valueless.
We have until about August 3 to get them adopted. Any good ideas on how to get them adopted?

Don’t make them to much… Around 50-100, depending on age and breed.
Tell people about them, if their interested, or ask them what qualities they want in a cat, and if there is a cat that matches their requests, show them which one, and even allow them to hold it… At the store of course.

  1. Have you tried advertising them on craiglist?

Like post pictures and descriptions and that they will be at the pet smart adoption thingy. you need to be careful with craiglist but its another way to get the word out. Pictures and personality descriptions are key though to get people to come down.
